What is a scale drawing?

Get with your classmates that have the same role as you. Use the directions below once in your groups.

Material Technician- Measure the length and width (in inches) and width of the Smartboard, find its area. Use this information to make a scale drawing for your object. Each person will need to make a scale drawing. Be sure to label your scale (i.e. 1 inch = 1 foot).

Manager- Measure the length and width (in inches) of the bookcase, find its area.

Sales Coordinator- Measure the length and width (in inches) of the door, find its area.
